This Privacy Policy explains how KidTube Lock ("we", "us", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We built KidTube Lock to give parents a safe, simple way to let children watch videos, and we take your family's privacy seriously.
KidTube Lock is designed to work without collecting personal information. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.

This information is saved on your device using standard on-device storage and is never transmitted to us or to any third party by the app.
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data. We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking technologies within the app.
KidTube Lock is intended to be set up and controlled by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not gather personal data, no personal information about your child is stored on our servers. Parents remain in control of the device and the content their child can access.
The app displays video content from third-party services such as YouTube and YouTube Kids inside a contained viewer. When your child watches videos, those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you allow, including Google/YouTube's Privacy Policy.
The app may request device features (such as screen pinning or guided access) that help keep a child within the app. These features run on your device and do not send data to us.
Because settings are stored only on your device, protecting that data depends primarily on your device's own security. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
